Turzum – A heaven inside tea garden
Turzum is a heaven situated on the top of a hill surrounded by tea gardens. This place is on the midway to Mirik and Darjeeling. Lepchajagat and Sukhiapokhri is very near to this place. The view of surrounding tea gardens are really scenic and picturesque. If you are looking for a clam and romantic gateway then Turzum should be in your list. From the top you will get the view of near by Nepal hills as well as Mirik and Darjeeling hills.
How to reach :
Turzum is only 34km away from Mirik, 9km away from Sukhiapokhri and 26km away from Darjeeling. One may reach either Mirik, Sukhiapokhri or Darjeeling and from there one have to take car for Turzum.
What to do:
Turzum is surrounded by beautiful tea gardens and hills. One can walk through tea gardens. May visit nearby Siva Temple, gopal dhara tea estate, rangbhang khola, Tabakoshi. The best way to enjoy Turzum is to seat beside tea garden and enjoy the view with a cup of hot tea.
Best time to visit :
Turzum can be visit in any season. The road towards Turzum remain open through out the year. We preferably suggest you to visit in rainy season and winter. At the time of rain the place become so vibrant and romantic.

There is only one homestay called Turzum homestay or Noni’s homestay at kothigaon of Turzum. The host and home stay both are excellent. They have three rooms with attached bath and geyser.
