“এ মন ব্যাকুল যখন তখন” …. কি করা ??? … ব্যাকুল মনকে তো শান্ত করার কোন উপায় চাই ……. তাই সিন্থিয়া আর আমি চুপি চুপি কেটে পড়লাম …. কাটোয়া লোকালে টিকিট কেটে উঠে পড়লাম … ট্রেন ফাঁকাই ছিল … জানলার ধারে বসার সিটও পেয়ে গেলাম …. ব্যাস আর পায় কে …. “আজ আবার মোরা ভবঘুরে ” …. দুই বান্ধবী মিলে পাড়ি অজানার উদ্দেশ্যে ….. ট্রেন মিনিট দশেক দেরী করে ছাড়লেও কোন অসুবিধা হলো না …. এরপর ট্রেনে ঝালমুড়ি, শশা, মটর, চা, বাড়ি থেকে আনা কেক খেতে খেতে আর জানলা দিয়ে বাইরের দৃশ্য দেখতে দেখতে ১১টা ১০ এ পৌঁছে গেলাম পূর্বস্থলী … ৩ নং প্লাটফর্মে ট্রেন আমাদের নামিয়ে দিয়ে চলে গেল …. স্টেশন চত্তর বেশ বড় ।

ফ্লাই ওভারের ব্রীজ দিয়ে উপরে উঠে ১ নং প্লাটফর্মের দিকে এসে বাইরে বেরোলাম …. স্টেশনের বাইরে বেশ ফুলগাছ দিয়ে সাজানো …. বাইরে গাছতলায় অনেক টোটো দাঁড়িয়ে … চড়ে বসলাম একটায় … তার আগে অবশ্য একটু আখের রস খেয়ে নিলাম … মিনিট ২৫ এর মধ্যে পৌঁছে গেলাম আমাদের আস্তানায় …. “চুপি কাষ্ঠস্থালী পাখিরালয় কটেজ” …. ঢুকেই মন ভরে গেল … বিশাল জায়গা নিয়ে বাগান করা …সুন্দর করে সাজানো…. তার সামনেই সেই ঝিল … যেখানে শীতে পরিযায়ী পাখীরা এসে একে অনিন্দ্যসুন্দর করে তোলে … সেই “চুপির চর” …. স্থানীয় লোক একে অবশ্য খাড়ি গঙ্গা বলে ।




এরপর আমাদের ঘরে গিয়ে দেখি এসি আগে থেকেই চালিয়ে ঘর ঠান্ডা করে রাখা হয়েছে … ঘর পরিষ্কার… ছিমছাম … রট আয়রনের খাট ধবধবে সাদা চাদর পাতা, সোফা কাম বেড, দুটি সুন্দর পাটের দড়ি দিয়ে তৈরি টুল, ছোট একটি আলমারী, টি টেবিল, টি ভি …… বাথরুম টাও বেশ ভালো পরিষ্কার … গিজার ও আছে … ।

রুমে ঢুকে সোফায় বসতে না বসতেই ওয়েলকাম শরবত চলে এলো …. এরপর এলো গাছ পাকা আম ।সেসব আমেজ করে খেলাম ওখানের দায়িত্বে থাকা অভিজিতের সাথে গল্প করতে করতে । এরপর মালী দাদার সাথে গল্প হলো ।

খানিকক্ষণ এর মধ্যেই শ্যামলী দিদি ( যিনি ওখানে রান্না করেন ) জানালো দুপুরের খাবার রেডি .. যখন খুশী আমরা খেতে পারি … ঘড়িতে তো সবে ১২:২০ … তো এখনই কি খাবো … আর আগের গুলোকেও তো হজম করতে হবে না কি…??? তাই দিদিকে বললাম যে স্নান সেরে দেড়টার মধ্যে যাচ্ছি ….
এরপর কিছু সময় গল্প করে গেলাম স্নানে …. স্নান করে এসে খাবার ঘরের দিকে পা বাড়ালাম … ছোট্ট সুন্দর ঘরটি গোল দুটি টেবিল পাতা … স্ট্যান্ড পাখা চালিয়ে দিল … প্রথমে একটু গরম লাগলেও একটু পরেই ঠিক হয়ে গেল …. এরপর এলো গরম গরম ভাত, পটল ভাজা, সাবুর ব্যাট পাঁপড় ভাজা, পেঁয়াজ ফোড়ণ দেওয়া মুসুর ডাল, ঝিঙে পোস্ত, সিন্থিয়ার জন্য মাছের ঝোল, আমার জন্য ডিমের ঝোল, আবার সিন্থিয়ার আবদারে ডবল ডিমের অমলেট, চাটনি, পাঁপড় আবার তার সাথে একবাটি করে দই … দই এর স্বাদ যে কি অপূর্ব … না খেলে বোঝা যাবে না … টক মিষ্টি দই …. আহা …।

৪:১৫ তে উঠে দেখি বাইরে তখনও বেশ রোদ … তাই আর মিনিট ২০ পরে বাইরে বেরোলাম … রোদের তেজ একটু হাল্কা হলেও … তখনও ভালোই রোদ্দুর … কিন্তু আর বেশী দেরী করলে যে আমাদের ফোটোসেশন জলে যাবে … এরপর আমবাগানে, চুপির চরে, পাট ক্ষেতে ঘন্টা খানেক ফটোসেশন করার পর চললাম নৌকাবিহারে …..

শেষ বিকেলের হাওয়া সঙ্গী হলো আমাদের …. দূরে দেখা যাচ্ছে মায়াপুর ইস্কন মন্দিরের চূড়া …. মাঝিদাদার থেকে জানলাম নৌকা করে ইস্কনের মন্দির অবধিও যাওয়া যায় … তবে তাতে বেশ সময় লাগে …. তাই এযাত্রায় সে আশা ত্যাগ করে ঘন্টা খানেক এই খাড়ি গঙ্গাকেই উপভোগ করবো বলে ঠিক করলাম …. এখানে জলের নীচে শ্যাওলায় পরিপূর্ণ … মাঝে মাঝে কচুরিপানার রাজ্য …. মাছও পাওয়া যায় … কেউ কেউ ছোট নৌকা নিয়ে মাছ ধরছে … মাঝে একটা দ্বীপও গড়ে উঠেছে … সেখানে কিছু মানুষের বাস … তারা সবাই গোয়ালা …. এ সবই মাঝিদাদার থেকে শোনা …. এরপর শুরু হলো ধীরে ধীরে সূর্যের রং বদল …. তার সাথে সাথে গলায় কিছু গানও চলে এলো …. ” ইয়ে শাম মাস্তানী”…. “সূর্য ডোবার পালা” …. গলায় বেসুরো গান …. নদীর হাওয়া …. দূর থেকে বিভিন্ন পাখির উড়ে যাওয়া …. উফফফফ কিছু অভূতপূর্ব দৃশ্যের সাক্ষী হলাম ।

৭:১৫ নাগাদ কটেজে ঢুকে তো অবাক … এতো লোক কোথা থেকে এলো … আমাদের শান্তি বিঘ্নিত করতে??? কেউ ঘাসে বসে, কেউ দাঁড়িয়ে, কেউ দোলনায় … সব ফটোসেশন চলছে … একটু রাগ হলো … ধুস আমাদেরই তো এখনো দোলনায় দোলা হলো না … তবে ৭:৩০এর মধ্যেই সব আবার ফাঁকা … খোঁজ নিয়ে জানলাম … সকালে আর বিকালে এ প্রাঙ্গণ সবার জন্য উন্মুক্ত …. সবাই এখানে ঘুরতে আসে … যাক বাবা … আমরা আবার একা …. এরই মধ্যে পেয়ে গেলাম চাউমিন আর কফি। এখন এ বাগান শুধু আমাদের দুজনের …. খানিকটা নরম সবুজ ঘাসের গালিচায় পায়চারী …. কিছু সময় দোলনায় দোল ….. আর অফুরন্ত গল্প করতে করতে কখন যেন ৯ টা বেজে গেল …. শ্যামলী দিদি বলল … রাতের খাবার রেডি …. উনি আমাদের খাইয়ে দায়িয়ে তবে বাড়ি যাবেন … কিন্তু আমাদের তো এখনো খিদেই পায়নি …. কিন্তু ওনাকে ও তো ছাড়তে হবে …. তাই আর বেশী দেরী না করে আমাদের খাবার ঘরেই দিতে বললাম ….. রাতের খাবারে ছিল …ভাত/ রুটি , ডাল, ভাজা, পটল আলুর সব্জি, দেশী মুরগীর কষা মাংস, চাটনী,বড় বড় দুটি করে রসগোল্লা (চাইলে আরো দিত) ….. আমাদের পেটে তো জায়গা নেই … তাই … কিছু পদ বাদ দিয়ে আমি নিলাম রুটি – মাংস – চাটনী – রসগোল্লা আর সিন্থিয়া নিল এগুলোই একটু ভাত দিয়ে …. খাওয়ার পর আরো কিছুক্ষণ সবুজ ঘাসে পায়চারি করে ঘরে চলে এলাম … রাত ১২টা পর্যন্ত গল্প করে ঘুমিয়ে পড়লাম ।



দ্বিতীয় দিন:

ভোর পাঁচটায় উঠে দেখি বাইরে আলোয় ঝকঝক করছে … ওমা , এখানে সূর্য ওঠে কখন !!!! নতুন জায়গা, রাতে ভালো ঘুম হয়নি … আর এসেছি তো ল্যাদ খেতে …. তাই আবার বিছানায়। সাড়ে সাতটায় উঠে চা বানালাম … ঘরেই ইলেকট্রিক কেটলি সহ সবকিছু দেওয়া ছিল …. । আট টায় শ্যামলী দিদি এসে আমাদের জন্য লুচি বানাবে বলল … আমরা বারণ করলাম … এই গরমে লুচি না করে রুটি সব্জি বানাতে বললাম । উনি ৯টার মধ্যে রুটি, সব্জি, ডিম সেদ্ধ, আম, চা দিয়ে গেলেন …. আমরা খেয়ে নিয়ে জামাকাপড় পাল্টে তৈরী হয়ে নিলাম …. আজ যে ফেরার পালা …. মনটা একটু দুঃখ দুঃখ … অভিজিৎ আমাদের জন্য টোটো ডেকে দিল …. সবার থেকে বিদায় নিয়ে ১০:২৫এ রওনা দিলাম ১১টায় ফেরার ট্রেন। ওরা আবার আসতে বলল …. আমরা কথা দিলাম …আসতেই হবে … এদের এত সুন্দর আতিথেয়তার জন্য ।
“চুপির চর” কে বিদায় জানালাম … আর হৃদয় ভরে নিয়ে এলাম …. শেষ বিকেলের আলো মাখা গ্রামীন মানুষগুলোর সারল্য ।

শীতে তো এই জায়গাটা অসাধারণ তবে এই গরমে গিয়েও আমাদের খুব ভালো লেগেছে … মন চাইলে ঘুরে আসতে পারেন … খারাপ লাগবে বলে মনে হয়না ।

## হাওড়া ও শিয়ালদা হয়ে পূর্বস্থলী যাওয়া ও আসা যায় ।
শিয়ালদা থেকে সকালে মাত্র ২ টি যাওয়ার ট্রেন … সকাল ৫:৩৫ টায় জঙ্গিপুর – শিয়ালদা DMU এবং ৮:০৬ এ কাটোয়া গ্যালপিং লোকাল ।
শিয়ালদা ফেরার জন্যও 2 টি ট্রেন ..১৬:২৪ কাটোয়া গ্যালপিং লোকাল এবং ১৭:১৫ জঙ্গিপুর -শিয়ালদা DMU।
হাওড়া থেকে অনেক ট্রেন আছে।
ট্রেনে মোটামুটি ৩ থেকে সাড়ে ৩ ঘন্টা লাগে ।

## ট্রেনের টিকিট … হাওড়া থেকে ২৫ টাকা ও শিয়ালদা থেকে ৩০ টাকা ।

## স্টেশনের পাশেই টোটো ভাড়া ২০ টাকা প্রতিজন।

## পাখিরালয় কটেজে ২ জন একটি কটেজে থাকলে , জনপ্রতি প্রতিদিন ১৫৫০ এসি, ১৩৫০ নন এসি ।
৩ জন একটি কটেজে থাকলে, জনপ্রতি ১৩৫০ এসি, ১১৫০ নন এসি।
৪ জন একটি কটেজে থাকলে , জনপ্রতি ১১৫০ এসি, ৯৫০ নন এসি
+ ৫% GST (খাওয়া ও থাকা নিয়ে ) ।

বাচ্চা ৩ বছর পর্যন্ত ফ্রী, ৩ থেকে ৬ বছর ২০০ টাকা, ১০ বছর পর্যন্ত ৪৫০ টাকা ।

## এদের বারবিকিউ এর ও ব্যবস্থা আছে ।(মূল্য অতিরিক্ত )

## পুরো টাকা এডভান্স জমা করতে হয় ।

## এখানে মোট ৪ টি কটেজ আছে , প্রতিটিতে ৩জন ভালো ভাবেই থাকা যায় । সবকটি ঘরেই এসি ও গিজার আছে ।
এর পাশে একটি গেস্ট হাউজ ও আছে …. নীচে বেশ বড় ডর্মিটোরি … আট টি রট আয়রনের খাট , ২ টি বাথরূম ও ২টি রান্নাঘর, চেয়ার টেবিল আছে ।
উপরে দুটি বড় ঘর আছে … প্রতিটিতেই 2 টি করে খাট, একটি রান্নাঘর , চেয়ার টেবিল ও একটি বাথরূম আছে। সব ঘর গুলোই এসি।

  3. এই লেখা এমন এক ভ্রমণ-পাগলের যাঁর পায়ের তলায় বোধহয় একরাশ সরষে । ব্যক্তিগত পরিচয় থাকার সূত্র ধরেই জানি, এঁর লেখা যেকোনো ভ্রমণ বর্ননা একাধারে যেমন যোগায় মননসুখ, অপর দিকে তেমনই দেয় প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্যাদি । আপামর মধ্যবিত্ত বাঙ্গালির অতি পরিচিত গন্ডির মধ্যে থেকেও এঁর লেখার হাত ধরে অনায়াসেই বেরিয়ে পড়া যায় দিন কয়েকের হারিয়ে যাওয়ার ঠিকানায় ।

  4. সব দরকারি তথ্য আছে, বোট ভাড়া কত ছিল? । মনে হয় গরমকালে গেছিলেন। এইখানে শীতকালে এলে মনে হয় অনেক পাখি দেখা যাবে। চুপির চড়ে না থেকে আর কোথায় থাকা যেতে পারে? আপনার উত্তর পেলে ভালো হয়
