It will take much more time than one can expect for a particular distance. Tawang: Tawang is a beautiful town situated between the border of Bhutan and China (China occupied Tibet). Tawang Local Sightseeing:   Tawang Monastery: This is the largest monastery of India and 2nd second largest monastery in the world after the Potala Palace in Lasha, Tibet. This monastery is the collage of 17 gompas and 65 residential building. In Tibetan Tawang monastery is known as Golden Namgey Lhatse, which translate to Celestial Paradise in a clear night. This place is totally quite and deserted. The building has only stupas inside. Runglee Rungliot Among the famous Tea estates in Darjeeling district, Runglee Rungliot is one of them. It is actually one of the oldest tea brands of Duncans. One can visit the estate factories and watch the tea processing but not in winters as it is usually remain closed during winter. How to reach: The distance of this tea estate from New Jalpaiguri railway station is approximately 80 km and it will take around 3 hours to reach Takdah. Just after Tenga market towards Bomdila,there is a bridge towards Roopa. Take left and follow the rout to Roopa valley and then ask people for the road towards Chillipam, they will guide you. There is only one road going upwards to the Chillipam,no diversion is there. Special Note: Search Sangngang Choekhor Dargyeling Monastery in google map, rest let the map to direct you towards Chillipam.
